    About Los Angeles

Los Angeles is a trend-setting global metropolis with an extraordinary history and a rich cultural heritage. It’s known as the Entertainment Capital of the World and is home to renowned museums, along with 75 miles of sunny coastline. The city of Los Angeles (nicknamed the "City of Angels") is the most populous city in California. Located on a broad basin in Southern California, the city is surrounded by vast mountain ranges, valleys, forests, beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean, and nearby desert.

    ● Climate

Southern California’s climate has often been described as “perfect” and with good reason. Most days are sunny and warm, with gentle ocean breezes in the summer.  The humidity is low with little rain.  In fact, there are no unpleasant seasons in Los Angeles.

Annual precipitation:                    15 inches         Average high temperature:   74° F
Avg. sunny/partly sunny days:   292 days            Average low temperature:     56° F

    ● Electricity

Electricity in USA is at 120V, 60Hz. The power plugs used in USA are of the two-pin or three-pin, square-shaped type. It is suggested to check before using an electrical appliance.
